I got these plastic shoes as a second pair to bring along on the European trek. They are light and surprisingly comfortable. They should do for lounging around after long hikes, and might do in case blisters make it necessary to take a break from hiking boots.
These shoes have become very popular recently, although I think they must trace back to some of Walt Disney's early work. From the front, at least, they look like the shoes Mickey Mouse used to wear.
